The artists Miho Tanaka, Lorena Ortells, Medina Zabo, and Francesco Minuti, accompanied by critics Kristel Masiello and Franciele Morrone, participated in this edition of the SENSE residencies titled Beyond Ashes.
Nature has an intrinsic beauty, and although humanity has deprived it of space and freedom, it still possesses a millennia-old strength that can be devastating if underestimated. With the same force as a bud emerging from scorched earth, the MABOS aims to once again create an opportunity for the sensitivity of nature to manifest through art in this territory, often burned from a cultural standpoint as well.
Something dies and something else rises from the ashes.
